Teaching English online from home is easy, fun, and prosperous. If you have the skills and education, all you need to do is apply, go through the process (with my support as your mentor), buy some supplies, setup your "virtual classroom", open your schedule, and when parents and students choose you, start teaching. Here is more information about setting up your virtual classroom:
- You need a quiet space in your home.
- You need a computer, internet access, a webcam, and microphone.
- I use a spare room in my parent's home where live. I also use a laptop, but I use a plug-in webcam instead of my laptop's camera as the webcam gives much better quality for video and audio.
- You 'll want to make a background for your virtual classroom - it's something that the parents and kids all see while you teach and offers credibility and value to your classroom setup.
- You'll learn (with my help) how to find and make props and what tools really help in the teaching process.
